The Euro Super Game 2025 - World best Magfed event? Natürlich ja! And the Game André? What about the Game? First of all, big Kudos for both @marc.w.morel, @battleground_butch and @bertl_wolowitz for listening to the players and keeping improving the game play, simplifying stuff, and implementing new rules to make us safer. The main changes I would point out are the better visualisation of field boundaries (that alone was a lotttttt of work), and the locations of the depo's and buffer zones! Wunderbar, 5 star review. Gameplay itself was very fast-paced for me and the QRF squad, taking out "fires" across the field for 2 days, in a almost 8h frenzy each and 26km on the legs as a total. Brutal fights, explosions, sharp sharp shooters, massive CQB's entries, and defensive barricades to the last man. Those kinds of moments that make the delight of any player, pausing even for just some time, all the outside world problems... Big thank you also to those who sacrificed themselves to work in the game so we could have fun, all the generals, 2nd in command, radio men, and staff that manages the game itself... brutal efforts there, too! Not mentioning the Orga, that strange working body of heroes we never know if they are friend or foe (or don't even care about us while doing stuff). As for my teammates, the coalition of C.E.P. @paintugal from Portugal and the Brazilian @grupodragaoazull, IRA, B7, and G.E.T., the sunrise in the battlefield has a more pleasant taste with you guys around. To hell and out with you, anytime! After the final party settles down on Saturday, so as reality and the bittersweet taste of the end, the departure, and the long wait for the 2026... But all those feelings were caused by the event that has flooded us with joy, the friendships, the battle memories, the laughs, and the urge to come back to cherish it all... AGAIN! For all of those who make the Battleground and ESG a living reality, I raise my cup in a heart-felt Prost or SAÚDE in Portuguese. Cya all on ESG 2026 from the 3rd to the 7th of June.
The Euro Super Game 2025 - World best Magfed event? Natürlich ja! I'm going to run away from a normal game play kind of review, and zoom in on what in my view as a mixed player & events organiser for over 20 years now, has blown away any expectations. Mainly because details make the difference and they usually are time suckers, meaning a lot of brain activity was put into this, and several orga and staff members had to implement it, so my main focus and gratitude on this post will go to them. Kudos. Battleground can be the single most exotic, perfect, consumer centric and experience giver in Europe (why not the whole world?) for combat sports like Paintball and recently Airsoft. It's difficult to know where to start, not to justify it. The facilities are out of this planet, as a former WW2 base where you can sleep on comfortable accommodation, eat with several options/suppliers, shower, camp with electricity, dive in a pool, have a massage, drink an excellent expresso, browse full shops with kind people you can have a chat with, meet tones of good people and even... wash and dry your clothes (very importante for those far away travellers)... Perfection is the correct word. Have you look into the booklet of the event in German and English language? Please browse this post pictures to check out the detail and love that was put into this! This very important aspect was complemented with our master translator and international players ambassador @brave, helping out live in the full rule briefing of the event, on site and before that online!!! And what about the side events inside the main one? I found out I missed the rappel some years ago and this year I was there 1 hour before, waiting for it so it couldn't slip away this year! Kudos for the organising team (forgot the name), super professional! The @RSOPS dudes were awesome to allow us to go first on the CQB freaking nightmare of a trap they have setup for us, so we could be free to enjoy the following ones. Others like 3 vs 3 in airball field, zip line, shooting context, night game, etc, were cherry's on top of an excellent and delicious event. And the Game André? What about the Game? Next...
Packing for a huge event like the Euro Super Game is always a mix of pure joy and a bit of panic, especially if you are flying... How to pack so many things in 1 bag with just 20kg.... and everything is really everything, or are you going to scream 3000km from your home for that part you really needed? Experience counts, and as in life, so all the bad situations will strengthen the future ones, making every trip more enjoyable. I am eager to reconnect with so many friends, make some new, share some drinks and conversations, and fight a lot for JTG! There are Companies, and there are Companies... Lynx Tactical Gear feels more like Family that just a Brand. For me personally i got in Contact with Lynx and Andre long time ago... guess it´s already about 4 Years ago. And i was instantly attached to his ideas and plans for the Products he was working on. Maybe i am a little spoiled by him, cause he always respects my opinion about products and developments. So to say, i would rather give him and Lynx Tactcial Gear 10 Stars on Google, but 5 is the Limit!
